CND General Secretary Kate Hudson delivers this public lecture to celebrate the 60th anniversary of CND and discuss her new book. Published to coincide with the anniversary, Kate Hudson’s new book provides detailed coverage of the inside story of six decades of CND, drawing on archive material and interviews with activists from across the decades, and situating CND’s current work in the context of the Trump presidency and increasing global tensions around nuclear weapons.

The event will be chaired by Mary Kaldor, Professor of Global Governance and Director of the Conflict and Civil Society Research Unit in the LSE Department of International Development.
