Join Woking Action for Peace for its Nagasaki/Hiroshima commemoration.
Location Wey Navigation towpath behind the New Inn pub in Send Road, Send GU23 7EN.
Timings Gather to socialise and have a meal in the pub garden at 7pm. This will be followed by readings and songs on the canal towpath followed by the floating of tealights in grapefruit skins on the canal as dusk falls, in a traditional Japanese ceremony that honours the dead.
