Hiroshima Day commemoration – Wimbledon

Join Wimbledon Disarmament Coalition/CND to commemorate Hiroshima Day.

The ceremony will maintain social distancing.  We will have a table, with explanatory leaflets, leaflets, tea lights and paper boats or paper if people want to make their own.  Everyone will be asked to help themselves.  We will then stand two metres apart in a circle around the pond and float the boats.  We hope to include some singing and poems, keeping speeches to the minimum, before a silent commemoration.
