In solidarity with protests at the 25th NATO summit in Chicago this weekend, join CND and Stop the War Coalition at the US Embassy this Saturday (19th May) to say NO to NATO interventionism and NATO nuclear weapons in Europe.
Heads of state for NATO member countries are officially meeting to discuss the ‘capabilities it needs to defend its population and territory and to deal with the challenges of the 21st century’. In reality, the summit will discuss the ongoing occupation of Afghanistan, a possible attack on Iran, and NATO tactical nuclear weapons in Europe.
Speakers include Tony Benn, Jeremy Corbyn MP, Kate Hudson (CND); Lindsey German (Stop the War); Mitra Qayoom (Afghan writer & activist); London Assembly member Murad Qureshi and many others.
