The symbol installation had a hugely successful day in Cardiff, with hundreds of people signing the Stop Trident petition. Lots of people signed letters to their MPs, a lot of information was taken away, and many photos taken, including by a Belgian visitor who said that he would put it on the Belgian Friends of the Earth website! And there was also some entertainment, as Côr Cochion Caerdydd (the Cardiff Red Choir) came and sang.
By the time everything was carefully packed in the van, CND Cymru members we were all exhausted, but agreed that it had been an excellent day’s campaigning with a really positive response from the people of Cardiff.
