Family man
Bruce’s nephew Stuart Kent sent in these wonderful pictures saying that “in spite of his high political profile he was always a great family man and loved a good party.”
The first three pictures are from a trip to the Lake District in 2012. 82 at the time, Bruce wanted to climb Helvellyn, something he had done several times before. The third image is of Bruce allegedly “cheating” at Monopoly, an accusation levelled at him by his grandniece Amy, pictured to his left. The final image is of Bruce in animated conversation with his brother-in-law Dick, at a family event in 2005.
