Sara Medi Jones has been working for the CND campaigns team since 2013 and undertakes a range of roles as part of CND’s work. Sara’s highlights in her time with CND include putting together the People not Trident report, organising the 2016 Stop Trident demonstration and re-launching Youth and Student CND activities.

‘It is an honour to work for CND and to follow in the footsteps of some truly incredible people,’ Sara says. ‘Working for CND means you taste the history of everything that’s happened in the last 60 years every day, which inspires you to campaign even harder for the most relevant of issues – saving the world from total destruction.’

What is 60 faces of CND?
2018 is the 60th anniversary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

Founded in 1958 at the height of the Cold War, CND has been a powerful collective voice against the dangers of nuclear weapons.

CND’s greatest strength has always been its members.
Incredible people have shaped our history,
our present and will continue to inspire in the future.

Here we take a look at 60 Faces of CND,
60 people who represent all the millions of people
who have campaigned for nuclear disarmament over the decades
and have made our organisation so remarkable.
