After the 2020 and 2021 Glastonbury festivals had to be cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, there was much excitement ahead of the 2022 festival. The CND team had a fantastic time, enjoying thousands of conversations with festival-goers about why we need to get rid of nuclear weapons. There was huge support for our campaign, and our festival t-shirt sold out before the bands had even begun!
CND will continue to look forward to Glastonbury. It is a political festival which proudly supports the vision of a greener, more sustainable and nuclear-free world. Attending is always a reminder that our campaign is part of a wider movement of organisations, charities, musicians and people who all want a better world.
We already can’t wait to be back for 2023!
