Join East Lancashire CND for a public meeting as part of CND’s Global Dangers tour, entitled ‘Britain can say No to Nukes’, with guest speakers Rebecca Johnson (Co-chair of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear weapons and CND Vice President); Peter Billington (Secretary of the Association of Lancs Trades Councils) and Andy Fewings (the Green Party’s first ever Burnley Borough Councillor).
Rebecca is bringing along the Nobel Peace Prize, presented to ICAN in 2017, in recognition of the network’s ground-breaking efforts to achieve a treaty-based prohibition of nuclear weapons.
