Join West Midlands CND for a commemoration of the bombing of Hiroshima. The Revd Richard Tetlow will give an address.
There will also be poem readings, readings, songs with members of the Clarion Singers and lighting of candles. The aim is to remember those who died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and in other conflicts since and to rededicate ourselves to working for peace and the elimination of nuclear weapons.
Everyone is very welcome, and the event is aimed at all irrespective of religious belief.
A Hiroshima exhibition will be displayed inside the Cathedral from August 4-11th
