It is very sad that it isn’t possible this year for the Menwith Hill Accountability Campaign to hold their annual 4th July demo at Menwith Hill. This lively demo to protest the presence of this US spy base on our Yorkshire moors, with speakers, music and usually dancing, is going to have to be held online this year.
However the planned Zoom demo will be great, you’ll still be able to see everyone, albeit in a little computerised box on your screen, we can still read the declaration of independence from America, and we can still all have a dance, albeit in our living rooms, as The Peace Artistes are providing music. Speakers will include Chris Cole of Drone Wars UK and Dave Webb of CND.
