Join the Global Campaign Against US/NATO Military Bases for its first international conference this November in Dublin!

The conference brings together leading peace activists and scholars from around the world to confront the increasingly aggressive and expansionist actions of US and NATO forces. There are now more than 1000 US and NATO military bases in over 170 countries, encouraging wars of aggression and environmental destruction across the globe.

This conference offers an exciting opportunity to unite anti-war movements across borders to mobilise a truly global united front against this aggression.

Over 30 prominent leaders of the global peace movement will be present, discussing the economic, political and environmental costs and impacts of US/NATO bases across various world regions.

Key note speakers will include Dr. Aleida Guevara from the Cuban National Assembly; Aengus Ó Snodaigh TD, Sinn Féin Defense Spokesperson and Clare Daly TD of the Dail Eireann.

Plenary Speakers will include the Nobel Peace Prize winner Mairead Maguire; Professor Dave Webb, Chair of CND; Socorro Gomes, President of the World Peace Council; Silvio Platero President of MovPaz; Ann Wright from Veterans for Peace; Chris Nineham, Vice-Chair of the Stop the War Coalition and Hiroji Yamashiro, Director of the Okinawa Peace Action Center.

If you would like to attend the conference, please register online. Tickets are not free for this event, however a low cost ticket is available.
