After a day of dirt-slinging and name-calling between the Conservatives and Labour, CND is delighted to invite you to a wholly positive party against nuclear weapons!
On Monday (13 April, 6-8pm), CND is holding a street party & protest outside the Ministry of Defence in Westminster, joined by: Drew McConnell (Babyshambles & Helsinki), Zefur Wolves (feat. Cian Ciarán of Super Furry Animals), spoken word artist Potent Whisper, and anti-folk hero Beans on Toast.
From 6-8pm there’ll be music, amazing speakers and not a little revelry – all to say no to plans to spend over £100bn on new nuclear weapons.
With the NHS and public services being slashed, we’re telling election candidates: if you’ll vote for Trident, we’ll vote you out.
