Nuclear weapons manufacturers and arms dealers are coming to London.
But there will be resistance!
CND and other anti-arms trade and peace organisations have joined together to organise Tank the Arms Fair: Resisting the DSEI Arms Fair. Join us for a Day of Action on the 14th September at the west entrance to the ExCel Centre, London where we will be providing some face-to-face resistance and some live action demos of a different stripe.
The day runs from 9am-9pm and there will events happening throughout the day with keynote speakers, including CND General Secretary Kate Hudson, Ahmed Al-Batali from Stand for Justice, Sayed Ahmed Al Wadani from the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy, Mizan the Poet and Raised Voices Choir.
- There will be a Quaker meeting for worship from 9am – 10am
- Vivienne Westwood will be speaking at 1pm
- Dabke Dance Workshop at 6:30pm with a performance at 7pm.
